Dr. Sacco was born and raised in Calgary. She was introduced to Chiropractic care through various injuries she obtained as an elite soccer goalie. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree with a minor in Women's Studies at the U of C, later achieving a Doctorate of Chiropractic from the renowned Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri, USA.

At Logan, she served as Class President and gained clinical experience while treating a variety of patients such as American War Veterans, Missouri State All-American football players, to babies, pregnant women and seniors in need of reprieve.

She provides premier individualized care to patients of all ages and needs, offering expertise in gentle manual adjusting, Logan Basic, Active Release Therapy (ART) and rehabilitation, pediatric care (ICPA), Webster pregnancy care and gait assessment.

Dr. Claudia established Quarry Park Chiropractic & Wellness Centre in May 2013.

In her free time Dr. Claudia enjoys spin class, biking and exploring the Rockies.

Working behind the scenes in the strategic development of the practice for years, Emma formally joined us in 2016 as we opened our new clinic location. As our full-time Clinical Director, she oversees day-to-day operations, business development, financial management, marketing and human resources management.

Emma earned a Bachelor of Fine Art with Distinction from the renowned Alberta College of Art + Design, where she served as the Vice President of Student Life. She went on to achieve top positions in the highly competitive Calgary art scene, first as Community Engagement Assistant at Stride Gallery, later as a prestigious Art Centre Director at A/P Society, then joined Bow Valley College to work in Literacy and Assessment. Emma has also completed postgraduate studies in entrepreneurship, financial management and project management.

Alongside her academic and professional experience, Emma brings creativity, customer service skills and business savvy to our growing practice.

In her free time Emma enjoys spending time with her husband and kittens and is a hobby beekeeper.

Tessa Hedch
R.M.T. 2200 Hours Certified
Registered Massage Therapist

Following her passion, Tessa graduated from Mount Royal University with a 2200 hour Massage Therapy Diploma in 2015. Since then she has pursued various modalities such as Dynamic Cupping, Prenatal Massage (side-laying and face down techniques and specialty pillows available) and Advanced Orthopedic Massage. She is happy to have joined our team in 2017.

 

Throughout the years, Tessa has enjoyed seeing her clients grow in their recovery journeys and helping them to attain relief from pain in their every day routines.

 

When not in the clinic, Tessa loves to focus on her personal fitness and spend time with her dogs and bunnies.

Marishka "Ish" Baterina
R.M.T. 2200 Hours Certified
Registered Massage Therapist

Ish is a graduate of Mount Royal University with the 2200 hour Diploma of Massage Therapy. Eager to help others with their healing process and ready to learn more along the way and is happy to have joined our team in 2019.

 

She utilizes various techniques such as general Swedish/relaxation massage, deep tissue, trigger point release and myofascial release.

 

Ish has also completed advanced training in Dynamic Cupping and is certified in administering Class 4 Therapeutic Laser Therapy and Shockwave Therapy in our clinic. 

 

In her free time, Ish likes to spend time with her dog, practice yoga and play video games.

Chelsea Kormann
R.M.T. 3000 Hours Certified
Registered Massage Therapist

Chelsea has completed a 3000 hour Registered Massage Therapy program at Makami college.

She performs swedish massage, deep tissue massage, pregnancy massage, sports massage, lymphatic drainage, trigger point release and dynamic cupping.
 

As of May 2021, she will work with QPC patients to help improve their everyday life whether it be with rehabilitation, working with range of motion, flexibility or simply helping them to relax!
